1. What this agreement covers
I will host and look after your website at the website address you give at checkout, for the monthly fee, until this agreement ends.
2. What is included
- Secure hosting and an SSL certificate (the padlock in the browser)
- Software and security updates
- Regular backups
- Monitoring to check the website is online
- Small content changes, such as editing text, swapping images or updating opening hours, up to 1 hour each month
- Support by WhatsApp or email, with a reply within 2 working days
3. What is not included
New pages, redesigns, new features, copywriting, photography, SEO campaigns and anything larger than the monthly allowance. I will quote for these separately before starting. Third-party costs, such as domain renewals, are also separate unless we agree otherwise.
4. Fees and payment
The fee is collected monthly by direct debit or card, starting on the day you subscribe. I will give you at least 30 days’ written notice of any price change. If a payment fails, I will tell you and try again. If a payment is still outstanding after 14 days, I may pause the changes service, and after 30 days I may suspend the website until it is paid.
5. Ending this agreement
This agreement runs month to month. Either of us can end it by giving 30 days’ notice in writing (WhatsApp or email is fine). When it ends, I will give you a copy of your website files within 14 days, and I will help you move to another provider. Your domain name and your content always belong to you.
6. Your responsibilities
You will give me accurate information, make sure you have the right to use any text, images and logos you give me, keep your logins private, and tell me promptly if something looks wrong.
7. Availability
I will look after your website with reasonable care and skill, but I cannot guarantee it will always be online. I am not responsible for outages caused by others, such as your domain registrar, your internet provider or the hosting platform.
8. Liability
I am not responsible for lost profits or indirect losses. My total liability to you under this agreement is limited to the fees you paid me in the 12 months before the problem. Nothing in this agreement limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
9. Personal data
If I handle personal information on your behalf, I will use it only to provide this service and will keep it secure, in line with data protection law. How I handle information from my own website is explained in the Privacy Policy.
10. General
This is the whole agreement between us about hosting and maintenance. Any change must be agreed in writing. Irish law applies, and the Irish courts will decide any dispute.
